The Townhouse will be hiring a full-time line cook, a full time server and a full time bartender in mid-August! Experience required. We like people who LOVE local food and drink and working as part of a team.
We’re a busy little community pub, serving great craft beer & local food, and we’re looking for experienced cooks to join our hardworking and talented kitchen staff. Familiarity with craft beer and local food, wine and spirits is an asset! We cook almost everything we serve from scratch and source all proteins and seasonal veggies as locally as possible from small, independent producers (some examples: Seabright Gardens, Bethany Market Gardens, Vacheresse Meats, Cross-Roads Valley Farm, Havre Boucher Seafoods, Afishianado Sustainable Fishmonger, etc.). We make our own stocks, breads, curries, desserts & ice-cream, patés, tapenade, pickles, etc. We brew traditional, English-style, cask ales and Irish stout in house, all our draft beer is produced by NS craft breweries, and we feature NS wines, gins, vodkas, rums and whisky! We are lucky to have fantastic regular customers, of all ages, year round, and a lively tourist trade in the summers and fall. Must be experienced, adaptable, keen to learn, team-oriented, and willing to work nights and weekends.
